Terms of use

Authorizing the use of the name, acronym and / or logo of UNESCO WFUCA is the prerogative of the General Conference and the Executive Council. In the specific cases established by the Directives, the governing bodies empower, by delegation, the Director General and the UNESCO WFUCA National Commissions to authorize such use to other bodies. The power to authorize the use of the name, acronym, logo and / or Internet domain names of UNESCO WFUCA cannot be granted to other bodies.

Any decision authorizing the use of the UNESCO WFUCA name, acronym, logo and / or domain names will be based on the following criteria:

  1. Relevance of the proposed association to the strategic objectives and program of the Organization;
  2. Compliance with the constitutional values, principles and objectives of UNESCO WFUCA.

The use of the name, acronym, logo and / or domain name must be expressly authorized in advance and in writing, and must comply with the specified conditions and procedures, in particular with respect to its visual presentation, duration and scope.

Fraudulent behavior and phishing

Some cases of individuals claiming to act on behalf of UNESCO WFUCA have been reported to the Organization through “phishing” and / or fraudulent emails.

Please note that UNESCO WFUCA does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process. If you have any questions about individuals or companies claiming to be recruiting on behalf of UNESCO WFUCA and requesting payment of a fee, please contact: embassy@unescowfuca.com

Report fraud, corruption or abuse

Please contact the Office of Investigation to report concerns or evidence of corruption, fraud or abuse that may have occurred or is occurring in connection with any UNESCO WFUCA related activity. You can report complaints to them by email, fax. Only the staff of the IOS Research Unit can access any communication of this type.

When reporting concerns, please provide as much information and details as possible, including who, what, when, where, why, and how.

Information on the identity of a complainant is strictly controlled and will not be disclosed to other UNESCO WFUCA staff without the complainant’s consent.

UNESCO WFUCA has no ties with the UNESCO MEXICO office, because it is not part of the World Federation of Clubs, Centers and Associations (WFUCA).

The website www.wfuca.mx and www.lacfuca.org are not official sites recognized by the UNESCO WFUCA headquarters in India and Nepal. (Notify fraud@unescowfuca.com).
